42 Students Injured in US Bleacher Collapse
Forty-two students were injured Thursday as a set of risers collapsed during a high school class photo shoot in Richardson of Texas State in the
United States
, reports reaching here said.
The reports quoted local officials as saying that none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.
Among the reported injuries were a broken leg and sprained ankles.
Some 400 students were posing for the photo in front of Richardson High School in suburban Dallas when the semicircular risers gave way.
Richardson is about 20 kilometers north of Dallas.
