Muslim World League Warns Against Israeli Tougher Policies

The Muslim World League (MWL) warned against the dangers of tougher aggressive policies Israel is implementing in the Palestinian territories, the official Saudi News Agency reported on Thursday.

Israeli army has escalated its aggression against the Palestinians and started a "land-scorching policy" in many Palestinian towns and villages, a statement issued by the MWL was quoted as saying.

The statement criticized the United Nations for failing to adopt a resolution on sending an international force to protect the Palestinians.

It also expressed the regret of Muslim organizations and communities at the U.S. veto over the U.N. draft resolution.

Meanwhile, the MWL urged the U.N. and the U.N. Security Council to condemn the Israeli crimes and take effective steps to prevent Israel from continuing its aggressions against the Palestinians.

The organization also called for the international community to show credibility in defending the Palestinian people in line with international laws.
