Vice-Premier Meets with Togolese Delegation


Vice Premier Meets with Togolese Guest
Vice-Premier Li Lanqing hailed Wednesday the smooth development of relations between China and Togo, saying that friendly cooperation has been increasing since the two countries forged diplomatic ties nearly 30 years ago.

Li, who is also a member of the Political Bureau Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, made the remarks at a meeting with a delegation of the Rally of the Togolese People.

Li said the strengthening of friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two parties is not only favorable to the building of the two states and two parties, but also favorable to the development of the friendly relationship between the two nations.

The delegation, led by Koffi Sama, secretary-general of the Rally of the Togolese People, is here as guest of the CPC.
