Blast Victims Get CompensationRelatives of 37 victims of the recent Shijiazhuang explosions which killed 108 people received a total of 250,000 yuan (US$30,120) insurance compensation last weekend from China Life Insurance Co.According to China Life officials, three work units in Shijiazhuang that had employees injured in the explosions had bought insurance at China Life. Among them was the No 3 Cotton Mill. Statistics from the company showed that 37 policy holders had been injured or killed in the incident. Earlier last week, China Life also paid out 60,000 yuan (US$7,300) to the daughter of a client who had bought serious disease insurance at the company and was then killed in the accident, the firm said. The four explosions blasts in Shijiazhuang, capital city of North China's Hebei Province, took place on March 16, killing 108 people and injuring 38. Blast suspect Jin Ruchao, a resident at the No 3 Cotton Mill, was caught last Friday in Beihai, South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, according to the Ministry of Public Security.
