Legend Computers Holds Largest Market Share in Asian-Pacific Region
Legend Computers continued to be the largest share holder in the computer market in the Asian-Pacific region (Japan excluded) with 12.1 percent of shares during the fourth quarter last year, according to the latest report issued by the International Digital Corporation.
In the domestic market, Legend has, for the 17th quarter on end, ranked first in market share with 31 percent in the fourth quarter last year.
Three companies from China were ranked within the top ten in the fourth quarter last year in terms of shares in the Asian-Pacific market, including the Founder and the Great Wall, while six domestic producers were ranked within the top ten sellers in the domestic market.
Computer business in China was flourishing in 2000 with a number of domestic producers winning out among the tough competition.
