Palestinian-Israeli Liaison Office Hit by Anti-Tank Missile

The liaison office between the Palestinian police and Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the West Bank city of Khan Yunis was attacked by an anti-tank missile Tuesday afternoon, Radio Israel reported.

IDF then hit back at where the missile was fired from, the radio said.

This was the first time that an anti-tank missile was used in the six months of bloody clashes between Israeli troops and the Palestinians.

In another development, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement claimed responsibility for the bombing that occurred in southern Jerusalem Tuesday morning, in which five Israelis were wounded.

So far, no one has claimed responsibility for another explosion in northern Jerusalem earlier Tuesday, which destroyed a car and left one person dead and 20 others injured.
