Dutch Minister Stresses Bilateral Cooperation

Minister of Transport, Public Works and Water Management of the Netherlands Mrs. Tineke Netelenbos said that her current China trip is aimed at furthering bilateral cooperation in transport and water management, and increasing the Dutch business community's access to the Chinese market.

Netelenbos, who arrived in China on March 24, is leading a delegation composing of 25 companies from the sectors of port development, logistics, civil aviation, traffic management, postal services and water management.

She said that the Netherlands and China have a very good relationship and she has had good, open and interesting discussions with some Chinese ministers on strengthening bilateral cooperation.

She said she hoped that China can enter the World Trade Organization at an early date.

Besides Beijing, the delegation will also visit Shanghai and Hong Kong.
