Harbin Establishes "Green Products Protection Organization"
China's first green products protection organization was established in this capital of NE China's Heilongjiang Province.
The organization is aimed at advocating green consumption and cracking down on fake and shoddy green products.
Among the organization's eleven members are the Harbin Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau, the Harbin Administration for Industry and Commerce, the Harbin Environment Protection Bureau, the Harbin Consumers Association and the Harbin Green Food Association.
In the near future, the organization will inspect many areas closely related to people's daily life, such as food, decorative materials, household electric appliances, etc.
