China's Telecom Enterprises Raised US$ 20 Billion from Stock Listings
The
Ministry of Information Industry
announced recently that China's telecommunications enterprises have so far accumulatively raised a total amount of US$ 20 billion from listings on international capital markets, far exceeding the total amount of loans from foreign governments and international financial organizations utilized since China adopted the reform and opening policy (US$ 7 billion by the end of 1998).
