S. Leone's Ambassador to Liberia Expulsed

Sierra Leone's Ambassador to Liberia Kemo Salia Bao has left Liberia following an expulsion order from the host country's government, reports reaching from Liberia's capital Monrovia said Monday.

The ambassador, who returned home on Sunday, was given seven days last week to leave on a charge of having acts incompatible with his diplomatic status.

Sierra Leone accuses Liberia of backing rebels operating within its borders, while Liberia, on the other hand, also accuses Sierra Leone of harboring its dissidents.
