Premier Zhu Urges Better Economic Cooperation With Hong Kong
Premier
Zhu Rongji
said Monday that he hopes the interior of China and
Hong Kong
will continue to develop economic exchange and cooperation.
Zhu told a group of Hong Kong business people led by Victor K. Fung, chairman of the Airport Authority of Hong Kong, that relevant departments of the interior will study their proposals on cooperation.
The premier was briefed by the Hong Kong delegation on the recent economic situation in Hong Kong and the cooperation between the interior and the special administrative region.
