Beijing-Shanghai-HK Express Flights OpenedThe Eastern (Oriental) Airlines March 25 formally launched its "Express Flights" to provide scheduled high-frequency flights and excellent services to passengers on business.The first batch of "Express Flights" includes Shanghai-Beijing and Shanghai-Hong Kong flights put at the service of passengers from the three metropolitan cities Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, with a passenger flow about 75 percent of the whole of the route. Passengers will be provided every hour with a flight. By now, there are already 32 scheduled flights shuttling between Beijing and Shanghai every day. Concerning ground service, a series of supporting services will be provided. The Eastern Airlines will amend concerned operation procedures, providing relevant rapid channels, cutting the boarding-close time to 20 minutes from former 30 minutes in the way rapid convenient flight services are provided. Since this new flight season, the Eastern Airlines also expand its code-sharing limits to provide passengers with non-stop flights from Beijing to Paris and Shanghai to Paris. And increased flights have also been planned between Shanghai and Kunming, Yunnan Province, in addition to a new airline from Shanghai to Mianyang, Sichuan Province.
