Tianjin Strengthens State-Level Scientific Park
Tianjin University and the Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone have signed contracts to accelerate the construction of the state-level university scientific technology park.
The park will concentrate on the modern chemical industry, bio-technology, and photoelectricity information.
The university scientific technology park, covering over 500,000 square meters of land, is one of the first 15 trial university scientific technology parks in China and is the only state-level one in Tianjin.
An official of the park said the park managers will adopt a modern enterprise system in a bid to provide a full-spectrum service to enterprises in the park.
Tianjin University will invite state-level research centers and high-tech research institutes to establish a technology innovation base in the park and try to attract overseas research and development organizations.
