EU Chairman to Visit Pyongyang at End of April

Prime Minister Goran Persson of Sweden, which currently holds the rotating European Union (EU) presidency, and a group of high-ranking EU officials are expected to visit Seoul and Pyongyang at the end of April at the earliest, South Korean news agency Yonhap reported Sunday.

Yonhap quoted South Korean government sources as saying a specific date for the visits will soon be fixed as the EU and two Koreas are already discussing the schedule.
