Police Crack Illegal Stock Broker in East China

Police in Huainan City of Anhui Province, east China, has recently arrested two people suspected of operating illegal stock brokerage services.

There are another two people on the run and are wanted, police sources said over the weekend.

Ou Yu, Zou Huiying and the other suspects have been operating illegal stock brokerage services since November 2000 at a trade company they registered in the city and managed to attract more than 50 customers, who brought with them over 900,000 yuan for stock trading.

The suspects were accused of transferring customers' money into their own accountants.

The police have closed the illegal trading site.
