International Day for TB Prevention and Cure

Some 700 doctors from 70 hospitals took part in the activity to mark the International Day for TB Prevention and Cure. U.N. figures show that tuberculosis is responsible for some 2 million deaths a year, which is 5 precent of all deaths worldwide and 9.6 percent of adult deaths in the 15-59 age group.
