Guizhou Welcomes Overseas Investment in Boosting Tourism

Guizhou enjoys abundant tourism resources and welcomes overseas investment in boosting its tourism industry and overall economic growth, said Guo Shuqing, deputy governor of Guizhou Province in southwest China.

Guo said this during a meeting with a Japanese delegation headed by Koichi Arai, director-general of Japan's International Tourism Development Institute.

Guo briefed the guests on Guizhou's efforts in the construction of infrastructure, especially the two airports close to the two national scenic spots, the Huangguoshu Falls and Fanjingshan scenic spot, which are to be completed within this year.

Koichi Arai expressed confidence that more Japanese people would be eager to visit this beautiful Chinese province and more Japanese businessmen would be interested in investing in Guizhou.

Koichi Arai and his delegation are on a three-day visit as guests of the National Tourism Administration.
