Beijing Capital Airport will be built through cooperation with France Paris Airport into an international aviation hub in terms of overall planning, operation and management, personnel training and non-aviation earning.
Beijing Capital Airport has the advantages to be built into an important international aviation hub and Asia's aviation portal as it is on the way of the shortest flights linking up Europe, Asia and America and the flights to link Europe with Oceania.
From a global angle, aviation in the 21st century will be an industry based on hub airdromes focusing on hub flight routes. As things stand with the country's existing Chinese airdromes including Beijing Capital Airport, they are known as the only terminals of flights lack of transit function, which has downgraded the status of China's civil aviation in international competition.
Experts say that after the capital airdrome having been built to function as an important international aviation hub, from a yearly increased passenger flow of 470,000 persons/times there will bring a return of over RMB 10 billion yuan to Beijing and Tianjin.
