ABC, BOC in Full Partnership

The Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) and the Bank of China (BOC) signed an agreement in Beijing Thursday in a bid to develop cooperation in the fields of sharing of information, capital circulation, retail business, corporate business, trading settlement, fund transfer as well as personnel exchange and training.

The officials of the two banks said the signing of the agreement is a useful attempt to jointly meet the opportunities and challenges brought by China's impending WTO-entry, promote the business exchange and cooperation among state-owned commercial banks, strengthen the competitiveness of domestic financial industry and realize the sharing of resources and mutual supplement of advantages.
