Sino-German Forum on Environmental ProtectionThe ninth Sino-German forum on environmental protection opened today in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province.The forum is jointly held by three bureaus of foreign trade and economic cooperation, construction, environmental protection of Jiangsu Province and Nordrhein-Westfalen MBH of Germany. During the forum, Chinese and German environmental protection specialists will discuss topics regarding the present situation and prospects of sewage treatment in China, construction of an ecological city in Yangzhou, treatment of industrial wastewater, sewage treatment in cities, trash burning technology and tire recycling technology. The forum will close tomorrow. Jiangsu Province is an economically-developed region on east China coast. |
