Beijing to Hold 2001 China Network Media Operation and Development SummitThe 2001 China Network Media Operation and Development Summit, co-sponsored by China Federation of Technicians in News, China Society for Science Writers, the website of the Development Research Center of State Council, and the Center for International Communications Studies Tsinghua University, will be held in Beijing March 28-33.About 300 Chinese and foreign scholars, experts, government officials, and managers of enterprises will attend this symposium. They will discuss current situation and development of the network media policy and the application of network on news media; and they will create opportunities for the cooperation, investment, trade, and exchange of network media, to promote and strengthen the combination between media and network in China.
