Beijingers to Judge Weather Forecast

The Municipal Meteorological Bureau of Beijing is planning to recruit 10 volunteers to give constant comment on its daily weather forecast services.

These Beijing citizens will start to work from March 24, the World Meteorological Day, today's Beijing Daily reports.

Their major task is to watch and take record about the daily weather forecast program on TV at 18:50, and judge on the accuracy of the forecast on the other day according to the real weather condition.

Inaccurate weather forecast used to bring inconvenience to people's daily life, which aroused extensive social complaint.

Regular supervision and feedback from representatives of local residents is expected to has the bureau improve its weather forecast quality, according to officials with the meteorological bureau.
