Baosteel Joins Hands With Shougang, Wuhan Iron & Steel
Shanghai
Baosteel Group Corporation
signed a letter of intent for strategic cooperation on March 20 with
Shougang Group
and
Wuhan Iron & Steel (Group) Corporation
respectively in a bid to speed up technical innovations, improve the product mix, standardize the market and sharpen their competitive edge.
Partnership of the three steel giants, which vow to develop China into a great steel power in the world, marks a good beginning to gear China's steel industry to the international development trends.
