Jaswant Singh to be New Indian Defence Minister
Jaswant Singh will be the new Defence Minister to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of George Fernandes following the Tehelka expose.
Singh will hold the Defence portfolio in addition to External Affairs, a Presidential Palace communique said Sunday.
