The joint stock commercial banks should intensify their reforms and endeavor to realize the following breakthroughs:
First, the commercial banks should make progress in perfecting the corporation governance structure.
Second, the commercial banks should explore the industrial features of their won. They should focus their attention on the investors, their locations and clients. The city commercial banks should be resident-oriented.
Third, the banks should make breakthrough to strengthen the inside management, to improve the asset quality and to keep from risks. In particular, they should explore new ways of disposing bad assets.
Fourth, the banks should unite to co-resist the risks in the financial market.
Fifth, they should make breakthrough in incubating talents.
