China Unicom Rents Circuits from China Telecom

China Telecom signed on March 14 in Beijing a framework rental agreement with China Unicom for its inter-provincial long-distance circuits in China.

Following the agreement signed, China Telecom will provide top-quality long-distance circuits for China Unicom in support of its transmission network. The two sides will hold further talks on renting China Telecom's network elements and by acting on the principle to be mutually benefited both will develop side by side through developing cooperation and competition.
