Shanghai University Mission Visiting Taiwan

On the Invitation of Taiwan Ming Chuan University, a five-person Shanghai University mission led by Zhou Zhewei, vice president of Shanghai University, arrived Tuesday for a six-day visit on Taiwan.

Sources say Zhou's mission visits Taiwan mainly for academic exchanges. On top of a seminar scheduled March 17 at Taoyuan, the mission will be in the way to size up the situation of Taiwan's political, economic and cultural construction in order to be benefited.

Yang Zhihong, dean of the Communications Management of Ming Chuan University, pointed out that the Mass Media College of Ming Chuan University has become a sister university to Shanghai University Movie & TV College. They can make full use of the opportunity to promote academic exchanges between the two universities and be mutually benefited by each other's experience in education and school running.

It is also learnt that teachers and students of the Graduate School of Communications Management of Ming Chuan University will descend on Shanghai for a visit in late March.
