Macao SAR Celebrates Police Day
The Police Day of Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) was celebrated Wednesday and some outstanding individuals and public security police groups were commended.
Jose Proenca Lo Branco, commissioner general of the Police Services, noted that Macao police have carried out their duty and improved the public security order last year.
He vowed to further upgrade the image of police in the eye of broad masses, consolidate training for the policemen and continue to cooperate with the police forces in neighboring areas this year.
He called for the public security police to be honest to their profession and contribute to the peaceful life of local people.
Police exhibited various kinds of vehicles and equipment, conducted fire drills and performed how to catch criminals.
Chief Executive of Macao SAR Edmund Ho Hau Wah reviewed the police team and awarded prizes to part of the outstanding individuals.
