's George Rimarcdi to reach the third round of the All England badminton championshis in Birmingham on Thursday.
The match turned out to be a plain sailing for the Chinese, who eased to a 15-11, 15-3 victory over Rimarcdi.
But Olympic silver medallist Hendrawan of
Indonesia
had to work hard before finally beating
Japan
's Hidetaka Yamada 7-15, 15-9, 15- 6 to reach the third round.
