Shandong Bulls Finish 9th at CBA League

Shandong Bulls Finish 9th at CBA League
Shandong Flaming Bulls held off a later challenge to scored a 101-86 victory over Zhejiang Cyclones on Wednesday, finished ninth at the 12-team Chinese Basketball Association league.

Zhejiang Cyclones came into the 10th place. Shandong and Zhejiang had ensured their spots in the division A for next season 's competition before Wednesday's game, which would only differ their final rankings.

Jinan Army lead all the way to beat Shenyang Army 92-73 in Wednesday's final round of the relegation play-offs. Jinan Army finished 11th while the winless Shenyang Army bottomed at the 12th.

Both Jinan and Shenyang Armies will drop to the division B which is set to be held during this summer. But they still have chance to fight back to the first division by winning the top two spots in the B level competition.

The best-of-five CBA Finals between Shanghai Sharks and five-time defending champion Bayi Rockets will jump off on Sunday.
