Guangzhou International Garment Festival ScheduledGuangzhou International Garment Festival will be held in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province, March 8-11.According to Wang Shouchu, head of the organizing committee and also deputy mayor of Guangzhou, the festival will feature more than 20 kinds of activities, including two garment fairs, cultural programs, seminars, trade talks and specialized tours. The festival will be convened at the exhibition hall for China Export Commodity Fair in Guangzhou, and 1,100 business booths are available, with 20,000 square meters of floor space for the exhibition. Companies from the United States, Italy, France, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other parts of the Chinese mainland will exhibit more than 700 kinds of garments with famous brands at the festival. Other commodities, including finery, fabrics, supplementary materials, satchels and suitcases, headgear and garment-making equipment will also be displayed at the festival. The festival will be hosted by six organizations, including China Textiles Trade Association, China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangzhou Branch and Guangzhou Garment Industry Association. |
