Tsang Delivers Budget Speech in Legco

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's Financial Secretary Donald Tsang Yam-kuen began his 2000-2001 Budget reporting in the Legislative Council at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon.

The report, entitled "Honing Our Strength, Striving To Excel" and broadcast live on the government homepage, was Tsang's sixth and final Budget report, since he is to take over the office as the Administrative Secretary in May after Anson Chan Fang On-sang retires.
