ChinaWeb, E-finet and ChinaYES, three big financial websites respectively from China's inland, Hong Kong and Taiwan, signed an agreement on Monday evening. Forming a strategic alliance they are to provide jointly financial information to investors across the world by bringing the advantage of one another's resources into play.

According to the agreement, the tripartite parties will re-organize their prompt news in Chinese on the financial markets of China's inland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. And by sharing their databases and setting up jointly online service system of financial and economics information, they are developing new products catering to the needs of the market. Besides, they will also provide advertisement agency services and information business to one another in the aforesaid three places.

Persons in charge all agreed that the triad possesses a relatively large group of fixed users in these areas they belong to. After the forming of alliance, they would be able to provide their clients with more professional information at a greatly reduced cost.

Persons in the circle hold: since the ebb of website business occurred last year, it has seen a period of disintegration, adjustment and re-organization among the website dealers. The tripartite cooperation of ChinaWeb, E-finet and ChinaYES is a substantial move among the professional Chinese financial websites across the world, suggesting a trend of union among powerful dealers. And furthermore, it plays an active role in promoting the cooperation and development of the cross-Straits network information industry.
