10,000-less Yuan Pentium IV Computer Available

TCL Computer Technology Co. Ltd., a manufacturer leading China's computer market, lately put out a brand new Pentium 4 -988(H), claiming it to be the best in the world so far among Pentium IV computers at a price of less than ten thousand yuan.

Since the advent of Intel's Pentium-IV chip, the world's PC manufacturers started a new race for benefits. Backed by Intel Corporation and its manufacture partner, TCL introduced this new-generation computer November 22, 2000.

Later TCL began its sale promotion in over 20 big Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc. Immediately on December 22 last year, TCL announced that they would give this new-boomer a price at RMB 13880, thus giving rise to a new round of competition in high-grade computer market.

Then the market was followed up with Legend, Founder and other world computer giants in China. On February 12, Legend finally put out its Pentium IV computer priced 1999 yuan for commercial use, and soon made a stir in markets.
