NPC, CPPCC Agenda for March 6
Tuesday's major agenda for the 4th session of the 9th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 9th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) are as follows:
NPC:
-- To hear a report on the Implementation of the 2000 Plan for National Economic and Social Development and on a Draft 2001 Plan for National Economic and Social Development, given by Zeng Peiyan, minister in charge of the State Development Planning Commission;
-- To hear a report on the implementation of the Central and Local Budgets for 2000 and on Draft Central and Local Budgets for 2001, given by Finance Minister Xiang Huaicheng;
-- Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan to hold a press conference.
