Chinese Table Tennis Team Gears Up for World Championships
The Chinese national table tennis team arrived in their national training camp in Zhengding in north China's
Hebei
Province, on Monday to prepare for their participation in the 46th world championships slated for Osaka,
Japan
next month.
A seven-member team from
Hong Kong
, which is one of China's two Special Administrative Regions (SARs), also arrived in the camp to take pre-championships training.
The 57-strong Chinese national squad include 27 female players, who will take a 35-day closed-door training course to raise their fitness and polish their skills.
