Monday's major agendas for the 4th session of the 9th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 9th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) are as follows:

NPC:

-- The opening of the 4th Session of the Ninth NPC in the morning;

-- To hear a report by Premier Zhu Rongji on the draft outline of China's 10th Five-Year Plan for economic and social development.

CPPCC:

-- Group discussions;

-- Members to visit exhibition featuring China's high-tech research achievements.
