Pak-China Friendship Based on Mutual Trust: Pakistani President

Pakistani President Muhammad Rafiq Tarar said on Saturday that Pak-China friendship is based on mutual trust and cooperation and it will continue to be strengthened in the years to come.

Tarar made the remarks while receiving a Chinese Youth delegation in the president's office.

He said that friendship between the two countries is deep rooted and will be further cemented with the passage of time.

Tarar said that youth of the two countries are the guardians of excellent traditions of the mutual friendship and expressed the hope that they will not only promote these traditions but will pass them on to next generations.

Pakistan and China, he said, share common stance on all regional and international issues and their friendship is vital to the peace, stability and prosperity of this region.

The president expressed the hope that exchange of visits of youth delegations will help in learning each other's culture and in promotion of mutual goodwill.

The Chinese Youth Delegation arrived here Friday evening for week-long friendly visit to Pakistan.
