Nepal, China Agree to Enhance Cooperation on Radio
A memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation was signed Saturday in Kathmandu between Radio
Nepal
and China Radio Television International (CRTV).
The two sides agreed to enhance cooperation regarding radio training for Nepali technicians and promote assistance for the construction of a relay station to expand Radio Nepal's programs.
CRTV will also make available to Radio Nepal a model F.M. Transmitter along with a 10 watts antenna.
China has increased in the recent years assistance to Nepal radio and television for the updating of the training and facilities.
