India
Friday successfully test- fired the indigenously built multi-target surface-to-air missile Akash from the Interim Test Range at Chandipur-On-Sea in east India's Orissa state.
According to the Press Trust of India, this is the second time in four days India test-fired Akash.
The 650 kilograms missile was fired from a mobile launcher shortly after 1300 hours local time.
With a range of 25 kilometers, Akash can deliver 55 kilograms of explosives and has the capacity to strike several targets simultaneously.
