Digital Zhejiang to be Completed in Five Years
East China's coastal province of Zhejiang has started a project entitled "Digital Zhejiang" or network system in five years' time.
The network system will be able to provide all sorts of information and services about the province, ranging from geographical information to E-business, social relief and environmental protection upon completion.
The project means to put all the information regarding the province into a map through computer, network and multimedia technologies.
Based on the provincial platform of "Digital Zhejiang," all departments, agencies, communities, and even ordinary people can add their self-developed information to the map for the whole of society to share.
"Digital Zhejiang" is the No.1 infrastructure project for the province's information industry.
