China's PM Offers Condolences to British Counterpart Over Train Crash
Chinese Premier
Zhu Rongji
on Thursday offered condolences to his British counterpart Tony Blair over the deaths in Wednesday's train crash.
In a telegram of condolence, Zhu said he was shocked to learn about the crash in north Yorkshire and expressed his deep sympathy to the relatives of the deceased.
At least 13 people died and over 70 were injured in the train crash on Wednesday involving a car and two high-speed trains near Selby, north Yorkshire.
