Nepalese King Arrives in BeijingBirendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev, king of Nepal, arrived in Beijing from Haikou Wednesday afternoon to continue his seven-day state visit to China.During the king's stay in Hainan, he attended the inaugural ceremony of the Boao Forum for Asia Tuesday at Boao, a small town some 160 kilometers south of Haikou, capital of Hainan Province. The king also visited factories and farms, and meet with local businessmen. He is on the China tour at the invitation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin. |
