China's Telecom Service to Be More Transparent
The Ministry of Information Industry has lately decided on a sounding-out system on telecom operators' service quality at regular or irregular intervals, starting this quarter, to make the sector more transparent.
The first-stage public exposure is to be last year's overall business since the Ministry set up its Complaint Center January 2000. Users' complaints accepted will be every quarter; service quality stated regularly by telecom operators every half year; survey results of users' satisfaction rate every year; inspection results on telecom operators' service quality every year; punishment inflicted on operators seriously violating relevant regulations and other contents, irregularly.
