Annan to Visit India, Pakistan, Bangladesh March 10-17
United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan will make a three-country South Asian tour, visiting Pakistan,
Bangladesh
and
India
from March 10-17, Annan's office said Tuesday.
U.N. officials said Annan will stay four days each in India and Pakistan. The visit is likely aimed at easing tensions between India and Pakistan over disputed territory in the Kashmir region.
