The Film Services Office (FSO) of the Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority of Hong Kong has invited the Multimedia Innovation Center of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) to organize an "Introductory Workshop on Computer Animation" for the local film industry.
This is the latest series of training programs organized by the FSO with the support of PolyU to meet the growing needs for computer animation in the production of movies.
"The animation workshop designed for beginners will introduce modeling techniques, textures mapping and lighting control in animation productions, as well as other technical details in using animation software," a spokesman for FSO said Tuesday.
The three-day evening workshop will be held on March 21 and 28, and April 4.
