NPC Vice-Chairwoman Meets British Guests
He Luli, vice-chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), met Monday with a delegation headed by secretary-general John Monks of the British Trade Union Congress (TUC).
He briefed the guests on China's political and economic situation as well as the NPC's work. The two sides exchanged views on issues of common interest including the further exchanges and cooperation between trade unions of the two countries.
Monks and his delegation arrived here Friday at the invitation of All-China Federation of Trade Unions. They attended a seminar here co-sponsored by China and Britain, and will move on to
