Premier Zhu Meets Ambassadors from 14 Countries

Premier Zhu Rongji met Monday with ambassadors from 14 countries, who either will soon leave China or have just arrived.

The out-going ambassadors are Tewoldebrhan Woldemikael from Eritrea, Oscar Ameyedowo from Ghana, Sakutaro Tanino from Japan.

The newly arrived ambassadors are Jorge Tarud from Chile, Mohammed Al-Besher from Saudi Arabia, Abdullah Zaher Al Hussni from Oman, Modibo Timoko Traore from Mali, Abdulwhab M. Al- Shawkani from Yemen, Choe Jin Su from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Mohammed Kheir Al-wadi from Syria, Juan de Jesus Montilla Saldivia from Venezuela, Nicolau Dos Santos from Guinea-Bissau, Don Pramudwinai from Thailand and John Walter McKinnon from New Zealand.

Zhu thanked the departing ambassadors for their contribution in promoting bilateral relations between China and their countries. He also extended his best wishes to the incoming ambassadors.
