Beijing to Host Agricultural Hi-Tech Week

The fourth Beijing Hi-Tech Industry Week, scheduled for May 10-15, will display modern agricultural technology and products for the first time, organizers said Friday.

More than 130 enterprises, listed companies and institutions related to agriculture from both at home and abroad have so far registered to take part, according to officials with the organizing committee.

On display will be the latest agricultural technology, capital goods, materials, products and facilities. Trade talks on hi-tech agricultural products will also be held, along with an international forum on China's agricultural industrialization, information technology and biology.

A 30,000-square km exhibition center will be available for the international gathering to be hosted by the Beijing Jinxiu Earth Agriculture Co., Ltd.
