Vice-Premier Meets German Guests
Chinese Vice-Premier Wu Bangguo met Friday with Juergen Weber, chairman of the Lufthansa Airline Company, and his party.
Wu said that Lufthansa is one of the largest airline companies in Europe, and enjoys a good reputation. He expressed his belief that Weber's visit would further the cooperation between the airline companies of the two countries.
Weber said that the history of cooperation between Lufthansa and its Chinese counterparts can be dated back to 1926, when Lufthansa was established.
He noted that Lufthansa has maintained good cooperation with Air China in recent years, and expressed his hope to further the cooperation in all fields.
